Apologies for the shitty macro quality. I’m currently using my Dad’s Coolpix while I wait on my new camera being delivered. To say it can’t cope with getting up close and personal is an understatement.

I picked Beach up in my local House of Fraser. On first sight I thought it appeared too reddy and dark in tone and I was convinced it would just look like shimmery mud on my pale skin. Thankfully I took the advice of the MA for once and had it applied. I was pleasantly surprised, very surprised.

Even with a generous swirl of all the colours it simply creates a beautiful peachy glow.

It not only highlights in that lovely powder to cream finish but it also deposits “subtle” colour. Exactly what I want from this kind of product.

I definitely don’t want a tonne of orange/pink product sitting bizarrely where it shouldn’t. Beach is wearable gorgeousness!

OOTD is another comfy number. It’s a bank holiday in Northern Ireland today and that can be either fun or a bit of a nightmare due to the nature of the holiday….

I think we’ll just hang around the house today and catch up on all those little DIY jobs we’ve been meaning to do.

I’m wearing Asda Ski Pants, a grey tunic from Tesco sale that creases like a mutha!! and white Havaianas

I'm totally in love with it but like everything that isn't drugstore I'd really recommend testing it yourself in store. At £29 a pop you can't be TOO sure, eh!! xxx

Yes! I know! Flew by way too fast for us too, but we had an amazing time (currently researching 2011 as we speak)and I feel so refreshed for it!

Lovin' the hair myself, although it definitely IS more maintenance than longer hair. My hair grows SO quickly so its a cut every few weeks or else I look like a microphone head. Not good :) xxx

Oh nooo. Don't be tempting me with Bobbi Brown stuff. I got the Antigua palette a few weeks ago and its GORGEOUS. The Antigua bronzer is especially pretty.

It wasn't a brand I'd paid much attention to but now I want that shimmerbrick. I wasn't fussed on Stereo Rose either (although I almost bought By Candlelight) but this is beautiful.

Loving the new do too, you look fabulous with short hair, it really suits you!

JEALOUS!! I'm lemming the palette but my counter was out. I'd order online but it's really a product I want to see in person! You'll have to do a review!!

With you on the By Candlelight. I was choosing between the two and so far it seems like a total mistake. xx

The shimmer brick hsa really natural look-I have always stayed from the Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks as I though it would be too glittery on my cheeks…..After seeing the post, I am tempted to go back for a second look :-) Do you swirl you brush across the whole palette to get that look or go for perticular colours?

Tbh I've had one before, pinky one, can't remember the name, but it WAS glittery. This is the ultimate wet look. You can go light or heavy depending on the effect you want. But even today I swirled all the colours equally and the result was still subtle enough for a day time loveliness. Go in store and have a play! xx

I thought that too!! It's very deceiving in the pan!

What is it with BB counters? The one I always used to go to has shut down. Bizarre. I wonder if they're in trouble :/ xo

Hello!!! *Waves* Yes the things I miss about Twitter are the few lovely people like yourself!

Thanks re figure/ hair. I've not been able to run since I hurt my back about 7 weeks ago but thankfully the weight has stayed off for the most part. I think I'm about 11st 5 at the mo. Happy enough! :)

How are you keeping? xxx
