Just a quick post to share a total bargain of a dress I picked up today!
So far this year I’ve had 2 Evening Filler Invites to weddings. Lets not kid ourselves here, as a night guest you’re there to make the dance floor look a bit busier and in turn the bride and groom popular. Basically you’re not that well known (or perhaps even liked) by the couple to warrant getting your dinner bought…
So can I really be arsed decking myself out from head to toe in Coast or Zara for such an occasion? Eh no…. but I certainly don’t mind paying £26!! in Dunnes and £4 for a matching bracelet.
I honestly thought the price was wrong because the shape and fit is so amazing! It basically shows off the good bits and conceals the bad! Now that’s my kinda frock!!
I must also sheepishly admit to buying this swimsuit purely so I can pretend I’m the Special K girl….
Have a good weekend folks, whatever you get up to. I’m getting a day pass from being Mum tomorrow and heading for a boozy lunch with my bestie. Hooray!!

number! It's actually really reasonable for that Savida range. I find it can be pricey sometimes! xx

Seen the dress, I like the ivory colour but I wasn't in the mood to try it on so might head one evening this week, such good value, I'll let you know if I purchase, xx

I was looking at that dress in Dunnes today, but was in too much of a rush to try it on! What's it like on? Do you have a pic of you wearing it at all? Is it true to size? I find that Savida can be a bit off sometimes with size.
No pics of it on but wearing it soon so shall post some then
I took the 14 & 12 in expecting to have to size up (as you say Savida is odd sometimes) but they were actually true to size for a change and the 12 fits me like couture. I feel AH-mazing in it. Try it on!! xx

That dress look smokin' on the hanger, so it's going to be a knockout on you. I think the Dunnes we have in England are a poor cousin to yours. We only seem to get incredibly flammable, clingy nylon items
haha no trust me! It's exactly the same here too, but every now and then it throws up a gem. Such an odd store xx
Ah, the filler invite. Love those. I'm actually a bit of a cow for boycotting weddings like that. I did for one last year. The girl hadn't seen me for 5 years in spite working round the corner, I hate her friends and I wasn't even offered a plus one so I was "busy" that day!
That all being said, nothing like an excuse for a new dress and that one is lovely. I think it'll suit you better as a brunette too. I don't think I'd get away with it as a blonde so clearly all things happen for a reason!
