Well its been two whole months since I set about saving these hideous nails…

I’ve been continuing with the application of Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle Night and Day and we’re now at this stage….

I really can’t fault this stuff, the before and after pictures speak for themselves. What you can’t appreciate in photo though is just how strong my nails now are. There is very little flexibility in them, but enough to mean they are not susceptible to chipping.

A few people have been put off by the price of this product (approx £8 per bottle). I understand in this climate people are more careful about buying these type of treatment products, however I can honestly say I’d pay double that for it if I had to. That’s quite simply because it works.

Each bottle lasts almost 2 months as well (and thats using it twice daily) which I think is great value for money.

Most of all though I like my hands again, I don’t shove them into my pockets or feel ashamed of them, such as when handing money over at shops. My hands feel elegant, feminine and more representative of “me” which quite frankly rocks :)

xoxo

I really really recommend it. Just keep it by your bed at night and in your bag during the day. Apply twice daily whenever you feel like and you will honestly be amazed with the results. I'm still looking at them in wonder, can't quite believe they're mine xox

At the moment I just try not to chew them :) I don't bite my nails but I was a cuticle nibbler (disgusting but true). Tbh I'm not sure how to trim cuticles and I'm a bit scared I'll do myself an injury so I do intend to treat myself to my FIRST EVER manicure soon and get everything shaped nicely including the nails xxx

They look fab – well done you!

I'm still a gels girl, mostly because I'm really lazy and can't be arsed to paint my nails all the time – but if you can get your own in good nick, more power to you!

I reckon you should give a few of the ELF nail varnishes a go, £1.50 a pop and the reviews seem pretty good, except for the coral one. xx

How do you apply it? I have some too but i never know whether to just put it on over the top of the rest or when to take it off?

@Emma as far as I can tell it works regardless of whether you apply it to the bare nail or over polish. I do a mixture of both. If you're applying it to bare nails I find after around the 4th coat is starts to peel and look shabby, so I just remove it with a conditioning/ strengthening np remover and start over. If my nails are painted (like today again) I apply it as a base, paint my nails and then simply paint it over the np for a few days. It all seems to work :) xx
