If you log onto my blog for the forseeable.
I’ve enjoyed the past 9 months of cosmetic chit chat and while I was completing my course in Makeup it was useful as well as cathartic.
However now I’ve qualified the whole “beauty blogging” thing doesn’t hold quite the same personal appeal anymore. In fact its become a bit of a chore, and my attitutude has always been “if it isn’t fun, don’t do it”.
So I’m not 
Now don’t get me wrong… if I come across a product and feel the <3 you’ll know all about it, but I won’t be going out of my way. Instead I’ll be relying on all you fabulous beauty bloggers out there to keep me informed of what’s hot & whats not by continuing to read and comment on your brilliant blogs.
So…. if you have the time give me a little visit now and again, you never know what you’ll find, but its more than likely that the content will be much more varied and diverse than it has been and posts will be less regular.

I completely understand. I had to take a change in direction of my blog (albeit, a forced one) and now I post less regularly – but like you say if it's not fun then there's no point

Aww Arlene that is such a pity as I always really look forward to reading your blog. I always really trust your judgement on products as you give a really good accurate review and I also love your style of writing and the way you get your poing across! I for one will miss your blog but I can totally understand how you feel. As a Mum there are just so many chores in the day to be done that if what started out as a hobby is becoming a chore then there's no pleasure in it!! Hope you get what I mean – in short you will be missed. Hope to keep up the chats on twitter x

It really is a combination of things, but you're not far off track with the hobby turning into a chore! I love the "beauty bubble" but I'm looking forward to just posting about mudane "life stuff" too xxx
I completely understand where you're coming from. It's good to take a break and do something different! I like reading about things other than makeup so I'm still gonna watch your space for the occasional update.
