I am in serious love with two products in my make-up collection at the moment.

Meet my latest squeeze(s)….. NARS Crazed Blush & MAC Lustering Lipstick.
Both are seriously pigmented rich raspberry tones. Some could argue that really you should probably only wear one or the other to avoid overkill. They would be the type of people I don’t listen to….

I just don’t blush, I may feel warm or embarrassed but my cheeks never colour, but if they did I would want them to turn this shade of pink.
It gives the most gorgeous pretty & healthy looking flush and I feel totally girly when I wear it. It is ridiculously pigmented though, so you do need to apply sparingly, there is a fine line between a flush and a clown… which I found out on first application

As for Lustering Lipstick, this was recommended to me by Emma of the Magpiesparkles fame, thank you Emma!!
It’s definitely a “my lips but better” shade for me. It’s also my first ever Lustre finish MAC lippy and it definitely won’t be my last. It’s very pigmented but its not heavy or drying on the lips, tbh it feels much like lip balm when on.
What do you think? Would you wear both together? Any suggestions for other MAC lippies I might like?
xoxo

They're fab shades on you! I especially love the lippy!
I don't think I'd get away with either, though. I'm very pale and have white blonde hair, so would be too afraid to wear them. I got MAC ladybug before Christmas and when I wear it all I see are LIPS!
Lovely! You look fresh and sultry at the same time (if that's possible…)
If you like coral tones, I personally am loving Chatterbox (cremesheen, I think), Costa Chic (I think it's a frost but I hate frosts and love the finish, so not sure) and Vegas Volt (Can be full on or sheered out and looks lovely). I'm also pale with dark hair and I think these shades suit my colouring.
@Therealamz I'm still a bit self conscious when I wear shocking reds but I think if you stay within the base tone of your own natural lip pigmentation you can't go far wrong xx
@Claire thanks so much for all the suggestions, I am loving coral at the moment too so will definitely be checking these out xxx
Thats a gorgeous lippy on you and I think if you're confident wearing both together, you defintely should. I think stuff only looks dodgy if your body language is saying "Erm, not sure about this".
My fave MAC lipstick is a Lustre one – Syrup. They describe it as "Cloudy Pink" which is about right. Teeniest hint of mauve about it, just gorgeous. On its own its my "my lips but better" shade, but sometimes I wear it mixed with Hue (which I think is a glaze) and it makes the most perfect pale pink to go with smokey eyes.
I've only got a few MAC lippies and other than Powerhouse (which was a LE blue-red a couple of years ago) they're all pinks.
Lovelorn, which is another Lustre, is a blue-based pink but very pretty again.
Last of all I've got Cosmo, which is a darker pinky brown if that makes sense? I don't wear this one much as I've got quite a big mouth and because its dark it seems to make it look like I'm just a giant pair of lips!
You've hit the nail on the head Beth. If you wear make-up with confidence you can get away with most things
Lovelorn definitely sounds up my street, and I'm going to scour Ebay for Powerhouse, I could really do with a good blue based red!
xox
Love it!!! You look so gorgeous with "statement" lips!
You know, now I've said that I've had a quick look at Temptalia's database of all the MAC shades past and present and its saying its a true red. So I'm wrong about it being blue based.
I, myself, would consider it blue-based, but I guess the people who made it probably know best. I'll sort out a swatch for you if you like, just so you can see it.
gorgeous, both really suit you!!don't know why but it reminds me of Snow White!!xxx
@Beth I've found a swatch online & it looks lovely. Thanks bird, btw just found your YouTube, love it! You are stunning xox
@Holly funny, my husband says that
@Beth I picked up Lovelorn yesterday and I'm really liking it. I tend to go for a more natural colour on my lips, but I really loved this shade of pink. It's not too OTT and it's a really pretty, girlie shade for me.
Definitely agree on the confidence factor. I'm happier to wear brighter more statement making shades when on big nights out, as it fits in better with my overall look. On a normal "Just heading down the pub" type night I stick to safer colours
(I'm fierce boring!)
Love the lipcolour!! I might need to go try that for myself xx
I would totally wear both together – I think they look fantastic on you! I really want to track down that lipstick now, it's gorgeous…
Thanks Amber, its a winner! xx
Wow, that is one gorgeous combination… definitely wear both together! They complement rather than clash.
