FOTD Safari Style

Well folks, I may have to eat my words here…… as through gritted teeth I must confess that the Sleek Safari Palette isn’t half bad…. in fact its pretty great.

The pay off from the majority of shadows in the palette is superb, to the point where you might like to use a light hand!

The colours in the palette are also well chosen. I found it pretty effortless to pair colours that would compliment each other, always a good sign, and the shadows are easy to work with and blend.

The only thing I can really find to criticise is the fact that the palette does get quite messy (like the others) as the shadows break down very easily. However that really is me looking for a flaw :)

£4.99 well spent xox

£4.99??? No way!!!

You make it look as if it’s worth at least £50!

Have to get you to do a job on revamping my make upbag an me while yer at it!

My bag consists of eye/face flash balm, tinted moisturiser and mascara… Sooooo adventurous… Wish I could ‘do’ colour as well as you!

Ahhhh some lovely girl gave me that necklace, you might know her :P
I’m so glad you like the look, I think its really easy to get stuck in a rut, especially with eyeshadow colours, but it is worth just piling it all on and getting the blending brush on, after all, you can always remove it if its too much xxx

You can’t really complain at that for a fiver can you! I think I might just have to invest myself! Its a really pretty look on you too, I love those bronze/teal shades together.

I’m pleased so say that I’m lots better now (other than a hacking cough) and my shopping mojo is back – got myself a nice new handbag for £15 in the sale in Accessorize on my lunchbreak. It’s red and I don’t have a red bag so thought, why not!

Lovely look – I got sent this a couple of days ago and can’t wait to play with it… I agree with what you say about the colours being put together really well in the palette too… I love that gold on you!

@Bex It’s the Ann Street branch, across and up slightly from Cafe Nero. They’re the only branch I know of in Belfast that have a Sleek stand xx

Ah yes I know the one you mean! So weird that the castlecourt branch doesn’t have one! Will def be going to check it out tomorow. Have you seen that brand 2true that’s in superdrug? they do like a 3 for a fiver deal, I randomly got one of their lipglosses (no 18) and its become my new favourite, and their cheek tint. So have a wee nosey next time you’re in superdrug, I was pleasently suprised.
