The other half is away in Cork on business and the kids were having some Granny time…. which meant I found myself well and truly fancy free today.
It seemed positively criminal not to head into Belfast, after all shopping sans kids is a rare occurence, and one to make the most of!!
This is what I picked up…..

Minus Flash
Under Flash
The new Sleek Safari Eyeshadow Palette. I’m not a fan of their Original or Jewel Palettes. However I’m always willing to be proved wrong, and so I’ve succumbed to the Safari mania and I’ll let you know what I think soon.

An inexpensive blush (think it was about £2.50) from Collection 2000 called “Bashful”. I purchased this as the warm tone appealed and perhaps unbelievably (considering my make-up obsession) its not like anything I already own.

Revlon Crystal Nail File £4.99. I received a lot of comments on both my Nail Tidy posts that suggest glass nail files are the business. I honestly couldn’t find a glass one anywhere, but I’m assuming this will do the job…. probably

Large Silver & Turquoise Ring from Miss Selfridge. Sale price £2.00 I thought it was super summery and I love statement rings. It’s very comfy on too.

Bee Necklace from Accessorize. I just adore this, I had been looking at a very expensive bee one on Accessories online, but this is a more than acceptable substitute. It was marked as £4.00, however when the girl scanned it into the till it turned out to be £1.20!!!!

Horse Studs from Urban Outfitters, sale price £4.99. Just another addition to my animal fashion addiction. They also had lions & pumas if thats your bag

Adorable multi strand necklace, again from Urban Outfitters reduced from £34 to £9.99. I have to be honest and say its very unlikely I’d have paid the original price tag, however this is a stunning piece, I feel the need to build an outfit around it and an event to wear it to.
I just love the mix of gold and pearl, and the stunning art deco style clasps. It also hangs at that very flattering collar bone length, not quite a choker, but very very glamourous.
Thats pretty much it barr a Goats Cheese & Chilli Jam Sandwich from Deeee Lites (who took over 12 minutes to complete my order……bah!), it was a taste sensation though and only £2.00 so I’ll give them a by ball…. this time
xoxo

Thats a lovely little haul, I love that silver and turquoise ring. Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins are really good for sale bits of jewellery like that, I've had a few lately. You cant knock it when its that cheap.
I'm still not feeling better (and still whining) even to the point that I went into Superdrug yesterday and couldn't find any makeup I wanted. That never happens. I always find something but I think the germs are sapping my cosmetic energy for their own purposes
Love love love that bee necklace, might nip to accessorise in my lunch break and steal your steal! mwahx
Good idea! It is stunning. Fingers crossed they have it! xxx
@beth I'm a big Miss Selfridge jewellery fan, my friend Kelly told me that Topshop, Miss Sel & Primark all have their jewellery made in the same factory. I did wonder, as I've seen bangles recently in the Pri and been pretty sure I saw them in TS a few months back!
Sorry you're still under the weather bird, somehow its particularly shite to be sick over the summer. Winter you kinda expect to be struck down with something, but summer… gah!! and the fact they are warping your make-up purchase powers really has me worried. Get to the docs pronto!! xxx
Was up in Belfast last sat for some retail therapy, never been before, fab city for shopping! We also ate at deelites
i had the waistwatchers wrap and it was deelicious
Also bought a pedometer, loving the motivation to walk but i keep hitting reset accidentally
Hmm, I called into Superdrug yesterday on my lunch to pick up the Jungle palette, but I was just a bit 'meh'. I much prefer the colours in the Chaos palette, but I have a lot of those kinds of colours done by Urban Decay. For some reason, I just couldn't part with my fiver! I'll probably go back though…
I'm loving the bee and horse jewellry, so dainty but fabulous – Urban Outfitters is never somewhere I bother with for jewellery but may just have to check out their sale now
@Big Eyes oh no! Can't say I've hit mine yet, probably just jinxed myself
@Gemma Yeah, I'm not overly struck but for £4.99 I thought I'd not regret it TOO much should it turn out to be blah.
With you on the Urban Outfitters thing, its someonewhere I tend to steer clear from as I don't feel "cool" enough to shop in there, but I braved it as it was empty yesterday. Think the jewellery is overpriced unless its in the sale though xxx
That's a great haul, loving the palette and the ring – I remember Accessorize had a similar turquoise one, I skipped it, and now I totally regret it! lol!
Yours is such a great deal!
xx
