Ugh. Hating myself. I gained a half pound.
I realise it could have been worse, but I still feel like an elephant :(

I don’t want to go backwards, I want to go forwards!!!! I’ve had a look over my tracker for the week and I honestly was very good. The only thing different was later breakfasts due to the kids being off school and no major morning rushing (love that), and also later dinners, between about 7-8pm, rather than my normal 5-6pm. I’m thinking in there somewhere lies the problem.

So I’m thankful for a change that the school routine returns this week. I seem to need the routine to keep me on the straight and narrow. This means a return to earlier breakfast and I’m going to make sure I eat with the kids at around 5pm each evening and see how I get on.
Fingers Crossed!

Special thanks to my friend Kelly this week, she helps me to keep it all in perspective!!

How’s everyone else doing?!

I lost one and a half which is the one and a half I gained last week!I have attended WW for years on and off.I enjoyed reading whats in your larder I got some new ides from it as I think its very important to keep your diet as varied as poss or you will get bored.I ordered a WW calc you seem to find yours very handy are they easy to use? I bought the shop booklet last week and find it brill it gives full list of over 14,OOO items in your supermarket and the points in each one,a good buy.At our meeting today we spoke about what works for us the no point soups seemed to be a big factor in peoples weight loss, also water, sugar free jelly (which I don't eat)and exercise of course,it was great to pick up a few new tips that's why its always good to stay for meetings and get some inspiration!Good luck to everyone as we start our new week. Hi Martina :) I think you're completely right, keeping the food varied is sooo important. At our meeting this morning we were actually covering that and the Leader Jackie raised a good point. Before WW most of us bought in the same meals, ate the same things week to week whether we realised it or not, yet we wouldn't have thought about needing variety. Why then do we crave variety on WW? I can only surmise that its because when on WW we are so much more focussed on what we are putting in our mouths, we're expecting those results, and so when we don't get them we're blaming the two days in a row of having vegetable soup etc.

I always stay for the meetings too, I need that support. And interestingly a lot of our gold members still come every week (I think they are only required to attend 6 times a yr to maintain membership) which says to me that to maintain their weight that support must always play a vital part. I've made great friends through it.

Do you have a blog? I'd love to hear about your journey? xx
