The press on nails started to look a bit shabby by Monday/ Tuesday (I blame AM, she scudded me) and needed some re-glues, they lasted long enough to give my cuticles a chance to heal though so all good.
I’ve made myself another empty promise that I won’t chew them again…..

Nails of the day are OPI’s “Sheer” Your Toys (grey mauve) as a base, topped with Bourjois’ 1 Seconde in No 18 (sparkly lilac).

These Bourjois Polishes come with a “Fan Effect Brush”, supposed to make each nail a one second job, hence the name :)
I actually really like the brush so far but the colour I have is clear and therefore quite forgiving. I’ll have to pick it up in a more opaque colour and see how well it applies then.

What are your nail polishes have you been loving recently?
I fancy picking up some new colours when I get paid and need inspiration!

Aaaah sorry! Im such a beeatch!

I only really wear polish on my nails on a special occasion – its chip city no matter what I use! I got that stickey nail base recently and find it brill on my toes so must start doing my fingernails more. It makes me feel so glam and sophis (until the inevitable chipping!!)

Totally agree, bare fingernails are much less work but the painted effect (when unchipped) makes me feel gorge. Painted toe nails are a must, mine never match my hands tho. Red or pink for toes. I tried a gold polish once and it looked like I'd been smoking with my feet. Not good.

Seche Vite is my saviour in regards to chipping, it does still chip but lasts longer before doing so.

I think someone mentioned a while back about OPI's Chip Skip? Yet to try it but apparently its a winner! xo

Must try that although am a divil for buying the magic stuff like the sticky base I mentioned and then not using it enough!

Hmm I can imagine the gold toes – also imagining a ciggie stuck between them also and little ash sprinkles – very sophis altogether!!

I've recently bought OPI Baby its Coal Outside and Brand New Skates both from the Holiday In Toyland range and I LOVE them…. ones black with glitter and ones grey with glitter… they are gorgeous, you should try them! Or Tutti Frutti Tonga (OPI) is a cute light colour and Lincoln Park After Dark is a must!
