Well week 7.5 ish really……

I haven’t updated in a while in the hope that when I did, I would have some dramatic news to report.
Unfortunately that isn’t the case :(

There is no doubt that my lashes have grown in the past 8 weeks but…

  • Have they grown a huge amount? No.
  • Would they have grown slightly anyway due to the cycle of eyelash growth? Probably.
  • Are they growing because of Enormous Lash’s special formula or simply because they are being conditioned and shown more attention than normal??  I think this might not be far off the truth.

I’m going to continue to use it until the tube is empty as per maunfacturers directions, it seems to be nearly empty now though, so you definitely don’t get 6 months supply.

I bought this product primarily because of the great reviews given using the original formula such as by lollipop26. This contained some kind of glaucoma medication and this new version (the only one legally now available) does not and is paraben free.
In short I think they had to remove the miracle ingredient and what is left is a pretty mediocre lash conditioner, that yes will lengthen your lashes, but not in any awe inducing amounts. I have a feeling olive oil or vaseline might produce the same effects and will be trying one of those cheaper versions when I’m done with Enormous Lash.

So should you purchase Enormous Lash?
I can’t make that decision for you and I am sure other people have had different results, however personally I will not be making a re-purchase as I think there are cheaper ways to achieve the same level of growth to your lashes :)

Hope this experiment has been helpful xox

Hi!

I think it is not so worth to buy it. I mean I can hardly see any difference. I have very long lashes and that's great cause I don`t need too much, just a coat and I have achived great lashes with Maybelline Colossal with colagene. Have you tried Loreal powder 16 hours?I have the same colour skin as you and I was wondering what kind of powders do you use?

Thnaks a lot!!

I'm in agreement, I'll be sticking to the cheap options and lengthening mascaras once its all done :)

I have tried the Colossal and do use it on other people but I still find L'Oreal's Voluminous to be my absolute favourite.

In regards to powder I'm horrendously make-up free in the pics above but normally I wear Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 180 Sand Beige or MAC SFF in NW20 (bit dark, NW15 would have been a lot better, I blame the pushy MA!), I finish with either MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NW20 or the MSF in Medium/ Natural. I haven't tried the L'Oreal Infallible at all but like Revlon a lot of the drug store brands are more than comparable nowadays to the likes of MAC. xox

I haven't tried Colossal but I think I will follow your advice :) I will buy L'Oreal Infallible today because a friend of mine says that is great. I will try it and I will tell you if it works hehe. Sorry if my English is not as good as yours but I'm Spanish! Oh, by the way great job with the blog!Congrats!

Thanks so much, I think your English is great :) and I'm glad you like my blog. My husband doesn't really share my make-up passion and so my blog lets me ramble on about it :)

Definitely let me know how you like Infallible, I love trying new things xox

And you were so excited at the start too. Pity it didn't give you the result you were hoping for but worth a go I suppose off to lash a bit of vaseline on my own lashes, see if they experience a growth spurt!

Funnily enough though @cimota did ask today if I was wearing false lashes?? He says they have definitely grown, which they have, just not to the lengths I was expecting. I'm gonna continue to condition them, I think thats the basic key, just not with a $100 product :)

Hi!

You are one of the few people that has taken the time to post before and after pictures with the New EL formula. I have searched EVERYWHERE. I do wish I would have found this blog BEFORE I bought a tube of the new formula.

I started using it last friday night Jan 2nd. I feel dupped now, but im going to stick with it.

I am also using the Talika eyelash Lipocils in conjunction to the EL because I have a theory that Talika can speed up the results.

So far, I can only say that the Talika product has made my eyelashes very shiny and a little darker while the product is on my lashes. I am also using both products on my eyebrows. Its only been about five to six days and I am honestly seeing results; my eyebrows are slowy but surely filling in. I hope it continues to do so!!!

I think the results on the eyelashes are harder to see because eyelashes grow outward until a certain point at which point they start to curl.

Please continue to update us on your progress…or lack there of :(

THANK YOU!!!

Hi Rosie, Don't feel duped, my husband and I are 100% sure that my eye lashes have grown with the EL. However I have just been disappointed at the level of growth. The Talika in conjunction sounds promising, please keep me updated on your progress :)

I will update on the EL again at the end of the treatment, probably a few weeks worth left in the tube xo
