Today was weird for me… I woke with the personality & hairdo of a wild bear (thats the normal part actually), reached under the bed for my beloved MacBook Air and found nothing there. Nothing.. Nada… Zilch

I was shocked, then the panic set in. I’d liken it to when I think I’ve lost one of the children in the supermarket for longer than 5 minutes (yes really), bile rose in my throat, I felt light headed and winded.

Initial thought, we’ve been robbed. Went downstairs, children, TV, games consoles were all in situ. By this stage I am very confused and sick.

I text my husband asking if he knows where my laptop can be. I get a casual text back telling me that its in having its screen replaced (he damaged the hinge on it recently). There was a large wave of relief. Great I thought, phew!

However the strangest thing then happened. I went about my normal daily activities, but I felt very unfocused and desperately unmotivated. I can’t tell you how many times I thought of something, then went in search of my laptop to look up more information, before remembering I was without. By 5pm today I was in a deep depression as I realised I was minus the wealth of knowledge I take for granted that is the internet.

I’m addicted, I love it. I can’t answer a question without it anymore, and I honestly suffered some kind of seperation anxiety from my MacBook Air today. Maybe thats why they called it Air?? Not just because its the slimmest beauty on the planet but that once you have it you simply can’t live without it!

Gratuitous shot of the sexy minx below :)

Needless to say, we are currently getting reacquainted *strokes her streamlined curves*

Don't you have an iPhone? I find I can manage without a Mac for up to twelve hours as long as I have my iPhone.

Hmmm yeah I have my iPhone (spoilt rotten) but it must be the sites that us girls frequent! They just aren't that iPhone friendly. Plus I was out and about with low battery today. I honetly think overall though its just the air experience, why have chicken when you've got steak at home. Y'know? :)
