Baby, its cold outside
Party season is upon us and its a rare chance to break out the glitter with a vengeance, plaster on the eyeliner, and generally teeter on the thin line (of taste) between glamourista/ strictly come dancing contestant/ drag queen!
I adore silvers and greys but I think they are really hard to wear, especially with my pale skin. Adding glitter to the mix is a must for me, and also a rosy blush, essential if I am to avoid looking like an ice queen.
Although I’m just wearing lip balm above, if I was wearing this look out on the works Christmas do etc I’d wear a bold red lipstick/ gloss with the obligatory falsies (thats lashes, not boobs).
I know its “apparently” a big no no to accentuate both eyes and lips in one look, but I think thats a very boring 21st century rule that I like to break whenever possible. Certainly there are times when playing one up against the other works better but Christmas is NOT that time.
Pump up the volume and glam it up!!!! xox

I don’t know, I think the ice queen look has its place from time to time.
Overuse of pencil eyeliner I can manage no problem, even without a mirror, but I never got the hang of liquid – kept painting my eyeballs which was surprisingly painful.

The mind boggles, I keep forgetting you were/ are a goth underneath that whole daddy guise. Liquid eyeliner is definitely something that take A LOT of practice, I still go skew-whiff every now and again.

Yay!!! I think total balls to that eyes or lips rule!!!! like seriously how does that work if you are going for a totally glam look! I think a lot of magazines talk a pile of crap about what’s acceptable and what’s not make-up wise ( and a lot of other stuff to but that’s another post altogether) My all time classic look is the silver ice queen eyes and red red lips.
As for liquid eyeliner, bloody well love the stuff and would not be without it. Get practising Stuart!!!
